Dubai revealed on Saturday, October 5, that extraordinary teachers who have made substantial contributions to the emirate's private education sector will be awarded Golden Visas. On Sunday, Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) announced that the application process for the Golden Visa will commence on October 15, 2024.
These long-term residence visas will be extended to educators working in early childhood centres, private schools, and international higher education institutions. This initiative acknowledges educators who have showcased excellence, innovation, and a profound dedication to shaping Dubai's future through education. The Golden Visa underscores the emirate's commitment to nurturing talent, investing in human capital, and honoring the educators who inspire and empower future generations.
Educators in early childhood centres, schools, and higher education institutions may qualify for the Golden Visa based on the following criteria:
1. Demonstrating exceptional academic achievements and innovative contributions to education.
2. Proven success in elevating the quality of education at their institutions.
3. Creating a positive impact and recognition from the broader educational community.
4. Proven contributions to enhancing student outcomes, including academic progress and the attainment of recognized qualifications.
