In the first half of this year, companies within the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority (DWTCA) Free Zone generated 386 new employment opportunities, elevating the total job count to 8,223, marking a 5 percent rise. The free zone witnessed a substantial 21 percent increase in tenant numbers, reaching 2,735 by the end of the first half of 2024, up from 2,259 in the same period in 2023. The number of registered companies under DWTCA also surged by 19 percent compared to the previous year, totaling 2,818 by mid-2024, up from 2,366 at the midpoint of 2023.
