EA Sports has unveiled the launch trailer for FC 25, which is now available in early access for those who purchase the premium edition, ahead of its full release on September 27. The launch trailer is nothing short of intense. It features legendary footballer David Beckham receiving a phone call but opting to ignore it, instead cranking up the volume on his TV and leaning forward to concentrate fully. The trailer seamlessly transitions between in-game footage and live-action scenes that highlight the dedication of real-world football enthusiasts. These scenes include close-up shots of gruesome blisters, a ball-bruised stomach, and x-rays of an injured ankle. There's even a brief moment showing a player collapsing in exhaustion and vomiting.

Jude Bellingham, the 21-year-old English midfielder who plays for Real Madrid, is the global cover star for FC 25. He is the youngest athlete to grace the cover of an EA Sports football game and will also appear on the cover of EA Sports FC Mobile. Bellingham is not the sole cover star for FC 25; the Ultimate Edition features him alongside Aitana Bonmatí, David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, and Gianluigi Buffon.

FC 25 is set to launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. For more details, check out GameSpot's FC 25 preorder guide. FC 25 is the latest addition to EA's 2024 sports game lineup, following College Football 25 in July and Madden NFL 25 in August. The game officially drops on September 27, with NHL 25 scheduled for early October.
