Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has reaffirmed Egypt's unwavering solidarity with Lebanon amid the current challenging circumstances, emphasizing the imperative to uphold Lebanon's security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
In a recent phone conversation with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati, El-Sisi advocated for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire in both Lebanon and Gaza. The Egyptian leader also voiced his concern regarding the repercussions of the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon, cautioning that the situation in the region could escalate further if the international community fails to take responsibility and halt these aggressive actions.
Additionally, El-Sisi instructed the urgent dispatch of medical and relief aid to Lebanon.
