Emirates has announced the cancellation of flights to and from Baghdad until and including December 14, 2024. According to a travel update from the UAE's flag carrier, customers transiting through Dubai with Baghdad as their final destination will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin until further notice. Meanwhile, Emirates' partner airline, flydubai, is continuing to operate flights to Baghdad. Customers with confirmed bookings on flydubai for Baghdad will be accepted for travel. Passengers are advised to regularly check the flight status on flydubai.

Emirates' flights to and from Beirut are also cancelled until and including December 31, 2024. Customers transiting through Dubai with Beirut as their final destination will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin. The airline has advised affected passengers to contact Emirates directly if they have a direct booking, or to contact their booking agents for alternative travel arrangements. Customers are also reminded to ensure their contact details are up-to-date to receive any updates.

"We continue to closely monitor the situation in the region and are in contact with relevant authorities regarding developments," the carrier stated.
