Over the course of a month, Emirates airline anticipates over 2.6 million passengers to depart from Dubai International Airport (DXB). The airline predicts its peak travel times to be just prior to the Eid Al Adha holiday on June 15 and again on July 6, as numerous families embark on their summer vacations. Emirates strongly recommends that customers pay attention to crucial timings to guarantee a seamless travel experience during these busy periods. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport 3 hours before departure, although it may be necessary to arrive up to 4 hours early at certain airports, so it is essential to verify the recommended arrival time on your ticket. During peak travel times, it is recommended to arrive at the airport 3 hours before departure, pass through immigration 1.5 hours before departure, and reach your boarding gate 1 hour before departure. Emirates urges customers to account for increased traffic on the roads leading to the airport, longer queues at immigration, and the time required to move between concourses and reach boarding gates. Customers can check in online via Emirates.com or the app, which is available 48 hours before flight departure. Passengers can obtain a digital boarding pass for most destinations through the app and receive notifications about their flight, review meals, pre-order hot meals in Business Class, book a chauffeur drive service, and pre-select movies to watch on the ice inflight entertainment system. Emirates customers can drop off luggage at the airport the night before travel without any additional charges. Passengers departing from Dubai can check in early and drop off their bags 24 hours before departure, or 12 hours before departure if flying to the US, allowing them to proceed directly to the immigration area closer to departure time. Passengers can also check in at the Emirates City Check-in and Travel Store in ICD Brookfield Place, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), where they can check in and drop off luggage as early as 24 hours and up to 4 hours before a flight. The service is available from 8am to 10pm daily via self check-in kiosks, dedicated desks with Emirates agents, or through the robot check-in agent, Sara. Emirates customers in Dubai and Sharjah also have the option to check in at home, where DUBZ agents complete the check-in process and take the bags to the flight, allowing passengers to arrive later with only hand luggage. This service must be booked at least 24 hours before a flight and is complimentary for First Class passengers and Platinum Skywards members. When moving between Concourse A and Concourse B, Emirates customers can use the train in Terminal 3 or the shuttle bus service between Concourse A and Concourse C, which departs every 20 minutes with an average travel time of 20 minutes. First Class customers can request dedicated Emirates buggies throughout the airport, while Dubai Airport Buggies are available for all types of customers free of charge, with priority given to the elderly, families with children, and People of Determination. Customers can also pre-order Duty-Free Shopping on EmiratesRED.com to save time and have their purchases delivered directly to their seat inflight. Special assistance is available for People of Determination, including dedicated support from trained Emirates and airport staff, a pre-planning guide for DXB for those with hidden disabilities, 2 hours of complimentary parking at the airport, and access to a dedicated priority lane for check-in, passport control, security, and priority boarding if needed.
