The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has recently transported a consignment of vital medications and medical supplies to the health unit in a remote region of Ad-Dees Ash-Sharqia, within the Hadramaut Governorate, as part of the UAE's continuous support for Yemen's healthcare system.

This effort is in line with the UAE's humanitarian mission to alleviate the hardships faced by residents in distant areas who struggle to access medical services. It targets the worsening health conditions and service deficiencies by establishing 10 health centers across eastern districts, thereby reducing the strain on individuals who must travel long distances for medical care.

In addition to the delivery of medicines, the ERC's mobile medical clinic offered complimentary medical services, including examinations and treatments, to enhance access to fundamental healthcare. The local community expressed gratitude for the ERC's contributions and advocated for more robust partnerships between humanitarian organizations and the healthcare sector to foster sustainable development and the overall well-being of the community.

These initiatives underscore the UAE's dedication to expanding healthcare access to underserved areas through the Emirates Red Crescent. By supporting remote health units, the campaign seeks to revive hope and elevate living conditions in the eastern parts of Hadramaut.
