An Emirati woman was airlifted following a severe traffic accident in Oman, as reported by the National Search and Rescue Centre on Sunday. The incident in Salalah also involved her family. Due to her critical injuries, she was transported from Oman via air ambulance, accompanied by her family members. The swift evacuation ensured she could receive medical care in the UAE, surrounded by her loved ones. The rescue operation was coordinated by the National Guard - National Search and Rescue Centre in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The authority commended the assistance provided by the Omani authorities in facilitating the medical evacuation. In a separate earlier incident, a man and his family were also evacuated from Oman after a traffic accident, though a female citizen tragically did not survive. This mission reflects the ministry's dedication to safeguarding Emirati citizens overseas and ensuring rapid support and response in emergencies.
