An Emirati woman, who suffered severe injuries in a traffic accident in the Wilayat of Ibri, was evacuated from Oman. She was quickly airlifted from the accident scene to Ibri Hospital for essential medical care.
The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the National Search and Rescue Centre of the National Guard, successfully carried out the medical evacuation operation. With the assistance of Omani authorities, the evacuation was performed using National Guard search and rescue aircraft to guarantee her secure return to the UAE for additional medical treatment.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised all UAE citizens to be cautious while traveling by land and to follow traffic regulations to ensure their safety. The authority also expressed its thanks and appreciation to the Omani authorities for their role in the successful medical evacuation mission.
