Empowering women to conquer fear and anxiety, Yasmina Chamimi is a resilience coach who specializes in unlocking inner strength. Having enjoyed a successful 20-year career as a Chief Financial Officer in corporate finance, she made the life-changing decision to leave her role to focus on assisting women in finding peace amidst adversity. Her journey took a profound turn when she was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2023, which ignited her personal healing path and inspired her career shift.

"I woke up one morning and heard a whisper in my ear, saying, 'If you are determined, trust in God.' That was my turning point," Yasmina recounts. Her story traces back to her childhood, where she watched her father struggle with recurring brain tumors. From the age of 10, she witnessed his health decline following multiple surgeries. It was not just the physical decline that left a mark; it was the emotional and mental resilience her father exhibited, which profoundly influenced her.

"He taught me the significance of faith in God's will and destiny. From him and my mother, I learned how to confront life's toughest challenges head-on," Yasmina reflects. "Resilience is the capacity to face challenges, adapt, and grow stronger. Life doesn't halt because of hardships; we must learn to live and thrive despite them," she adds.

Launched in October, her 'Fear No More' program is crafted to equip women with the tools necessary to navigate the emotional and psychological toll of health challenges, particularly those related to cancer. The program integrates strategies such as deep breathing exercises, gratitude practices, and techniques for rewiring negative thoughts, empowering women to reclaim their inner strength.

"The concept for 'Fear No More' emerged during my healing process. I realized there was a significant gap in emotional support for women, especially during their most trying times," Yasmina explains. Her recent collaboration with the Pink Caravan, a breast cancer awareness initiative in Al Jada, Sharjah, underscored the effectiveness of her approach in conducting workshops for women.

"It was a wonderful experience. I felt I was truly fulfilling my purpose by helping these women see their challenges as opportunities for growth," she said. The workshops were met with such enthusiasm that even some event organizers participated, eager to benefit from the transformative sessions.

"It was incredible to see the women come together, support each other, and leave feeling more empowered," Yasmina recalls. The collective energy and shared experiences fostered a deep connection, enabling participants to draw strength from the coaching techniques and the solidarity within the group.

Yasmina envisions expanding her services both nationally and internationally, bringing emotional support to all hospitals and institutions. In a world often dominated by fear and uncertainty, Yasmina's message is resolute: "Challenges are not the end; they are a beginning. Every woman is stronger than she thinks, and with God's help, we can all overcome what seems impossible."
