Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, has introduced a fresh route to India, marking its 11th destination in the South Asian nation. The airline has initiated four weekly non-stop flights connecting Jaipur, situated in the Indian state of Rajasthan, with global destinations through Abu Dhabi. Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Following the revival of outbound travel from India, we are excited to commence four weekly flights to Jaipur, a pivotal cultural and commercial hub. This new air link with Rajasthan aims to satisfy the growing demand from travelers in the area, offering them easy access to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, along with smooth connections to our vast global network, all while providing an exceptional flying experience.” Jaipur is renowned for its ancient forts, palaces, lively culture, and culinary offerings. The new route will facilitate increased exploration of the emirate’s rich heritage and culture. Additionally, passengers flying from Jaipur to the United States can benefit from the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility in Abu Dhabi, simplifying the immigration process for a seamless travel experience. The flights will utilize aircraft from the Airbus A320 family.
