Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, has announced plans to hire hundreds of additional pilots in the current year to bolster its growing fleet and network. The Abu Dhabi-based airline will commence an international recruitment drive on June 29 in Larnaca, Cyprus, followed by events in seven other cities across Bulgaria, Albania, Romania, Hungary, Poland, and Lithuania until July 13. Etihad is looking for pilots of various ranks and for different aircraft types within its fleet, including the Airbus A320, A350, and A380, as well as the Boeing 777 and 787, and Boeing 777 freighters. Interested candidates can either attend the roadshows or register online at careers.etihad.com. The airline also invites pilots who do not meet the current criteria but are interested in future opportunities to participate in the roadshow or register online. Etihad plans to double its fleet size by 2030 compared to 2022, promising substantial career advancement opportunities for pilots.
