An Etihad flight had to return to Colombo after experiencing a bird strike. The flight EY395, originally scheduled for September 3 from Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) to Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport (AUH), was forced to return shortly after take-off.
The airline issued an apology for the inconvenience caused. Etihad's teams are currently helping passengers with their travel plans, as stated in their official announcement. Passengers with inquiries are encouraged to reach out through local phone numbers, live chat, or social media platforms.
Etihad Airways emphasized that the well-being and safety of their passengers remain their top priority.
