Italian shipyard Evo Yachts has introduced a new, 30-metre model named the Evo R9. This yacht is anticipated to achieve a remarkable top speed of nearly 60 knots.
According to the shipyard, the Evo R9 is described as "highly customizable" with a design that prioritizes the owner's preferences, aiming to compete with the leading Italian and Northern European superyachts. The distinctive geometric exterior is a collaboration between designer Valerio Rivellini and the shipyard's technical office.
Renderings showcase a profile characterized by sharp lines, an aluminum hull and topside, and a carbon fiber superstructure. The yacht is encased in glass surfaces, offering various layout configurations tailored to the owner's desires. Accommodation options range from six to eight guests, with space for up to four crew members. Notable features include an extended bow section with a lounging area, a swim platform, and foldable hull sides.
The propulsion system is set to be a key highlight, with the choice of two or three 2,200hp engines, enabling a top speed between 50 and 58 knots and a cruising speed of 40 to 44 knots. "Transformability" is central to this yacht's design philosophy. As the shipyard highlights, the Evo R9 is ideal for an owner who appreciates high-performance without compromising on the brand's renowned features. Additionally, she is expected to feature a stern transformer, enhancing her adaptability.
