A new beach exclusively for women has been announced in Sharjah, following the directives of Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. This 500-metre beach, located in the Lulu’iya area of Khorfakkan, will provide complete privacy for women and will also feature amenities such as a café, a medical clinic, and a prayer room.
In additional directives, the Ruler of Sharjah has instructed the construction of a pedestrian bridge connecting Al Bardi 6 and Al Batha areas in Khorfakkan city. Yousef Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of RTA Sharjah, mentioned on the Sharjah’s Direct Line radio programme that this new bridge will facilitate movement between the two areas. He also announced that the RTA plans to make modifications to the internal roads in the Hayawa area.
