The deadline for applying for the Parent-Friendly Label, which is granted to workplaces, has been extended until September 19, as announced by the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA) today.

Semi-government, private, and third-sector organizations now have additional time to finalize their nomination documents and submit them for a chance to earn the label and the advantages it offers to its recipients.

The Quality Mark Program for a Supportive Work Environment for Parents offers institutions in the country, operating within the specified sectors and meeting the program's criteria, the opportunity to acquire the Parent-Friendly Label.

This label is awarded in acknowledgment of companies that embrace a work culture and policies supportive of working parents, facilitating a balance between their professional and family lives, and ensuring optimal care and attention for their children.

Since its inception in 2021, the Parent-Friendly Workplace Quality Mark Program has significantly improved the lives of over 148,000 employees across 25 sectors, including more than 67,000 parents of over 50,000 children aged 0-8, and 1,492 children with disabilities.
