Du Plessis's stellar performance enabled the Samp Army to chase down the 104-run target set by Chennai Brave Warriors with nine wickets to spare. Earlier, Chennai Brave Warriors had managed to post a competitive total of 104/6 in their 10 overs, thanks to Dan Lawrence's blistering 57-run knock in 25 balls.
Deccan Gladiators showcased their all-round prowess with Rilee Rossouw leading the batting charge, smashing 61 runs off 24 balls to help his team reach a formidable total of 128/3 in 10 overs. Jos Buttler provided solid support in the later stages, scoring an unbeaten 19 runs off 7 balls.
