Italian shipyard Falcon Yachts has unveiled a new 37.5-metre model, the FY38, designed for extended ocean voyages. This launch signifies the start of a series of models expected to debut later this year.
The exterior design, by Horacio Bozzo, features a robust bow, symmetrical ladders, and a beach area with a transom, adhering to Falcon Yachts' traditional aesthetic. Accommodation is provided across five cabins, including a full-beam owner's suite on the main deck.
Massari Design has been entrusted with the interiors, with initial renderings showcasing the use of teak, a soft pastel color scheme, and Italian marble accents. A significant communal area is the upper deck, equipped with an outdoor cinema and ample recreational space, including a Jet Ski area with a removable crane and a skylounge.
The garage is situated on the main deck forward to minimize disruption during tender operations. Powered by twin Caterpillar C18 engines, the yacht can reach a maximum speed of 13.5 knots. Other notable specifications include an 8.2-metre beam, a volume of 360GT, and a draft of 2.5 metres.
This announcement follows the sale of a 45-metre custom project named Stella Azure, currently under construction at Falcon Yachts' Pisa site. Delivery to its experienced owners is scheduled for 2025.
