Fallout 4 made its debut almost a decade ago, and the release date for Fallout 5 remains uncertain. Fortunately, the dedicated fan developers at Team Folon have taken the initiative to craft Fallout London, an unofficial Fallout 4 mod that offers players a taste of the post-apocalyptic United Kingdom. Now, Team Folon is set to expand this project with an upcoming DLC for Fallout London.

"What began as a straightforward hotfix has evolved into something far more substantial," the team shared on the Fallout London Discord. "Given the scale of this update, we recognize it may necessitate changes that affect save files. Instead of risking issues with a minor update, we've decided to integrate this into our first DLC!"

While specifics about the release date and content of the DLC were not revealed, it was mentioned that the DLC will feature new content along with elements that were initially cut from the mod's original release. Additionally, Team Folon announced that it has transitioned from a fan collective to an officially incorporated business. The team hinted at potential future projects, including "a small indie game," but assured fans that they will "continue to support Fallout London."

Earlier this year, Fallout London achieved a significant milestone by being downloaded 500,000 times within the first 24 hours on the GOG store, setting a new record. More information about the mod can be found on its dedicated page outside of Discord. Meanwhile, another team is developing an ambitious, unofficial Fallout 4 mod called Fallout: Nuevos Mexico, which will explore the events unfolding in Mexico during the Fallout series.
