A family was saved by the National Centre for Search and Rescue after their canoe malfunctioned near Sharjah's coast. The canoe reportedly failed due to technical issues 13 nautical miles from Sharjah Creek. The authorities quickly identified the location of the incident, and a rescue boat was dispatched to save the family and recover the damaged canoe. The authority has advised seafarers to regularly inspect their maritime vessels' safety and follow precautionary measures.
