Dutch shipyard Feadship has utilized the Monaco Yacht Show to unveil more details about its latest 75-metre concept, C. This superyacht, designed by Studio de Voogt, commemorates Feadship's 75th Diamond Anniversary. Inspired by the geometry of a diamond, C features extensive glazing to 'draw light deep into the yacht's interior'. The hull design and fully electric propulsion system represent a progression from the 2010 concept Breathe and the acclaimed Savannah, delivered in 2015.

Feadship claims that this concept will be '30 per cent more efficient than a typical 75-metre yacht', thanks to its dual shafts, propellers, and rudders. The yacht will also pioneer in energy efficiency by sourcing 100 per cent of its power from fuel cells running on methanol, supplemented by lithium-metal batteries, following the groundbreaking Project 821.

Innovative features aboard C include a partially enclosed lower deck sea lounge, a beach club with sea-level dining, a duplex owner’s suite, and an articulating crow’s nest. The yacht's design incorporates a pair of infinity-edge hexagonal pools that echo the shapes of various seating areas and the atrium, which replaces the traditional elevator with a seating area moved by a lifting mechanism.

The primary suite emphasizes connectivity, with an open staircase linking the upper deck sleeping area to a private office and sitting room on the main deck. This space also includes a private outdoor deck and spa pool. The concept builds on earlier designs like Pure and the recently delivered Ulysses, featuring a fully digital command centre with advanced situational awareness technology.

C is anticipated to achieve a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. Additional power for the hotel load will be generated passively by two pairs of wave-actuated fins that extend from the hull aft of the anchors.
