Ferretti Group has unveiled the first glimpse inside the inaugural unit of its wallywind110 series, Galma, which is currently on display at the Monaco Yacht Show. The sailing yacht made its debut in June 2024, marking the first semi-custom sail model launched by Wally since its acquisition by Ferretti Group in 2019. Galma also holds the distinction of being the first unit officially launched in Ravenna.

Measuring 33.4 metres, the yacht's naval architecture is the work of German studio judel/vrolijk & co. Galma is distinguished by a 6.9-metre telescopic keel and an all-carbon hull, painted in a luminous light metallic blue that subtly shifts with the light. "Ever since Wally joined the Ferretti Group, it has continued to be Wally," remarked Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group. "With the wallywind110, we've achieved something unique: the boats are fully customizable, staying true to Wally's heritage, yet with the industrial approach of Ferretti Group, ensuring no two are alike."

Accommodation on board includes four guest cabins and three crew cabins, featuring a master cabin with desk space. Owners also have the option to install a bar, office, or television room. The interior design, led by Wally's Luca Bassani in collaboration with Santa Maria Magnolfi, showcases an airy, casual aesthetic with light woods, pale upholstery, and carbon fibre detailing for an industrial touch. The raised saloon boasts an open-plan layout, ideal for dining, lounging, and working, and benefits from natural light via a skylight that spans the full length of the coachroof.

According to the shipyard, the wallywind100 aims to blend the comfort of a cruising yacht with the spirit and performance of a racing boat. Galma features an 80-square-metre full-beam cockpit, offering seating and dining for up to 15 people, with customizable options to maximize the waterfront experience. Wally has already commenced work on a second hull, which will incorporate "slight differences and optimizations" as per the shipyard.
