Ferretti Yachts has provided an exclusive glimpse into the first unit of its INFYNITO 80 series, following the model's global debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival this year. At 23.7 metres, the yacht builds upon the INFYNITO 90's emphasis on environmental sustainability, flexibility, and innovative design.
Key features include the reintroduction of the popular 'all-season' terrace, which is sheltered by an extended superstructure for enhanced privacy and weather protection. The exterior design is credited to Filippo Salvetti, while the interiors are the work of IdeaeITALIA. Accommodation spans a 43-square-metre master cabin, a VIP cabin, and two guest cabins, with additional crew quarters for three.
IdeaeITALIA's Davide Bernardini and Alessio Battistini highlight the use of materials like lamellar teak, regenerated leather, and recyclable elements, all aimed at minimizing environmental impact. The yacht offers two stylistic options: 'classic', which draws from earthy tones, and 'contemporary', featuring vibrant woods and fabrics inspired by sea colors. The first unit showcases the contemporary style.
The main saloon, measuring 29 square metres, can be configured as a dining area or a show kitchen with a bar counter. The main galley is located forward on the main deck, with an electrically operated sliding glass door leading to the all-season terrace. A significant change from the INFYNITO 90 is the fully open upper deck, now featuring an outdoor galley and a sunbathing area with free-standing furniture and sunloungers.
The beach area boasts 18 square metres of dedicated space, including a 'sea view sofa' and storage unit, along with a stern platform equipped with a linear lift for handling the yacht's tender. The INFYNITO 80 also incorporates Ferretti's F.S.E.A. technology, featuring photovoltaic hardtop panels, an energy bank with 14 high-density lithium batteries, and eco-friendly materials like water-based paints and FSC 5-certified lamellar teak.
Designer Filippo Salvetti notes, "After the INFYNITO 90, we aimed to retain its unique characteristics while introducing new features suited to a different scale. We're excited to present the INFYNITO 80, offering ample covered exterior space for year-round enjoyment without compromising sea connectivity."
Powered by twin MAN V12 engines, the INFYNITO 80 boasts a top speed of 22 knots, a cruising speed of 17 knots, and a range of 1,200 nautical miles, thanks to its high-efficiency hull. The Ferretti Yachts and Wally brands will benefit from the fully operational Ravenna site by 2025, which will house five production lines.
