The shojo-anime-inspired farming game Fields of Mistria is receiving its inaugural significant content update. This patch introduces a fresh seasonal festival, a variety of mounts such as unicorns, llamas, cows, and sheep, and expanded romance options. The update features the 'Shooting Star Festival,' which occurs in-game on Summer 28. Players can invite romancable NPCs to stargaze if they have four or more hearts with them. Additionally, the renown level cap has been increased to 70, offering new rewards and 'Crown Requests' after reaching level 50. More items are now available at Merri's, Vera's, and Louis's market stalls. New sets and rewards can be claimed at the museum for the Insect, Archaeology, and Fish wings. After repairing Hayden's barn, players can ride mounts and unlock a set of related skills. Skill caps have been raised from 30 to 45. Two new monsters, the Essence Bat and the Mimic, have been added to the mines, offering new rare cosmetic items. In romance and relationships, affection with romancable NPCs can now reach six hearts, unlocking new events. Additional NPC dialogue has been included. Future updates, according to the game's roadmap, will bring more festivals, skill and level cap increases, and marriage. Full patch notes for this update are available below and on the Fields of Mistria website. Patch notes will include a 🌼 emoji whenever changes are based on community feedback and bug reporting.
