Fiorentina midfielder Edoardo Bove was transported to the Careggi Hospital in Florence after collapsing during their Serie A clash against Internazionale. According to Sky Sport Italia, Bove was breathing independently and had regained consciousness upon arrival at the hospital. The incident occurred shortly after the start of the match, when play was temporarily halted for a potential VAR review of a disallowed goal by Lautaro Martínez. The 22-year-old Bove, who was bending down to remove his boot, suddenly collapsed, leading to an immediate stoppage in play. Medical staff swiftly attended to him on the pitch, while his teammates formed a protective circle around him. Bove, who joined Fiorentina on loan from Roma in August, was later taken away in an ambulance. Following the incident, the referee instructed the players to leave the field and return to the dressing rooms, suspending the match. A Serie A spokesperson confirmed that the game would be rescheduled to a later date.
