Dubai-based airline flydubai and SriLankan Airlines revealed an interline agreement on Monday, September 9, which is effective immediately. This agreement aims to provide more travel options for passengers between the UAE, Sri Lanka, and selected routes offered by both carriers.

Flydubai passengers will gain access to 16 destinations on SriLankan’s network, which covers Southern and East Asia, the Middle East, and Australia, including cities like Melbourne, Seoul, Singapore, and Tokyo. Meanwhile, SriLankan Airlines passengers can travel to over 30 destinations via Dubai with flydubai, including popular holiday spots such as Bucharest, Krakow, Mombasa, Naples, Tashkent, and Zanzibar. These destinations are spread across Africa, Central Asia, Central and Southeast Europe, as well as the Middle East.

The new partnership ensures passengers enjoy the convenience of single-ticket itineraries, through-checked baggage, and coordinated flight schedules. Booking for these interline flights is now available through the airlines' respective websites — www.flydubai.com and www.srilankan.com — along with travel agents and online travel agencies.
