Flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, has unveiled new seasonal summer flights to Al Alamein International Airport (DBB). This new daily service will provide flydubai passengers with additional travel choices for the upcoming summer, heading to one of the region's most dynamic and emerging holiday spots.
Daily flights to this Mediterranean leisure destination will operate from Terminal 2, Dubai International (DXB), between June 21 and September 7, 2025. These direct flights will simplify access for travelers from Dubai and beyond to Egypt's renowned Al Sahel North Coast.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, expressed enthusiasm about the new route, stating, "We are thrilled to include Al Alamein in our seasonal summer schedule. This daily service will allow more visitors to experience the breathtaking Mediterranean coastlines, pristine beaches, and lively ambiance of Egypt's North Coast. Flydubai remains dedicated to fostering trade and tourism in underserved markets and bolstering Dubai's status as an aviation hub."
Flight fares for the new route are as follows: Return Business Class fares from DXB to DBB start at Dh5,000, while Economy Class Lite fares begin at Dh1,900. Conversely, Return Business Class fares from DBB to DXB start at EGP45,000, with Economy Class Lite fares starting at EGP22,500.
With the inclusion of summer flights to Al Alamein, flydubai now serves three destinations in Egypt, including Alexandria and Cairo (Sphinx), with 21 weekly flights. The airline has observed increasing demand for its services to Cairo's new airport since launching last year, offering passengers more travel options through a fresh gateway to the capital.
Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations (UAE, GCC, Africa and the Indian Subcontinent) at flydubai, commented, "We are continually seeking new opportunities to expand our network and provide our customers with more travel options, particularly during peak travel seasons. Flydubai has recently commenced operations to Basel in Switzerland, Bhairahawa in Nepal, Islamabad and Lahore in Pakistan, and Kerman and Kish Island in Iran, expanding its network to over 125 destinations in 55 countries. For its 2025 summer schedule, flydubai will operate to ten unique seasonal routes, including Al Alamein, Batumi, Bodrum, Corfu, Dubrovnik, Mykonos, Olbia, Santorini, Tivat, and Trabzon.
