UAE residents may encounter foggy conditions in certain western inland areas on Monday as the country resumes its working week following the weekend. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued red and yellow fog alerts, advising motorists to be cautious due to reduced visibility.
According to the NCM's weather forecast bulletin, the UAE will experience weak surface pressure systems, coupled with an extension of an upper air high-pressure system. The country can expect fair to partly cloudy skies, with humidity increasing during the night and into Tuesday morning. Light to moderate winds are forecast, occasionally strengthening to a maximum speed of 40kmph. The sea conditions will be slightly moderate in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea. Temperatures are expected to range from a high of 30℃ in coastal and inland areas to a low of 10℃ in mountainous regions.
