Red and yellow alerts were issued for certain suburban areas of Abu Dhabi due to foggy conditions on Thursday morning. The fog warning, which was issued for the Al Dhafra region, was activated at 6:45 AM and was set to remain in effect until 9:30 AM. Motorists are advised to exercise extra caution as they may face reduced visibility during their morning commute, according to the Met department. Here is a map of the areas affected:

In general, residents across the country can anticipate partly cloudy weather conditions, with a denser cloud cover expected in the eastern regions by afternoon, as reported by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Humidity levels will remain high during the night and into Friday morning, with the possibility of fog forming in some coastal and inland areas. Winds will be light to moderate, with speeds reaching up to 30 km/h. The waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are expected to be mild.
