Red and yellow alerts have been issued due to foggy conditions in various parts of the country. The red alert, in effect from 6.25am to 10.25am on Saturday, warns of fog causing a significant drop in horizontal visibility, which may further decrease at times. In other regions, a yellow alert has been issued, cautioning residents about the possibility of fog formation and reduced visibility. Here is a map of the affected areas:

According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the weather is expected to be generally fair with occasional partly cloudy skies. Clouds are anticipated to form towards the east by afternoon. Temperatures may dip as low as 16°C in the mountains and rise to 36°C in inland areas. Humidity levels could reach 95% in coastal regions and islands, while dropping to 15% in the mountains. Light to moderate winds are forecasted across the country. During the night and into Sunday morning, humid conditions are expected, with fog or mist forming in some coastal and inland areas. The sea conditions are expected to be slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
