The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued a warning on Friday evening regarding the formation of fog in various regions across the UAE.
In a post on X, the weather department indicated that the fog and mist will commence around 1am and persist until 10am on Saturday. They also cautioned about a decline in horizontal visibility, which could further diminish at certain times in some coastal and inland areas.
In the meantime, the Abu Dhabi Police advised drivers to be cautious due to the reduced visibility caused by the fog. They encouraged motorists to adhere to the varying speed limits displayed on electronic information boards.
