As it has done each December for the past three years, Fortnite is set to transition into a new chapter with a fresh battle royale map, an updated loot pool, and a plethora of new collaborations. However, before Chapter 6 commences, the current chapter must come to an end with a live event on November 30. This finale promises to be a major spectacle, featuring a colossal concert with performances by Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD, along with a series of new cosmetics honoring the late rapper—including a free skin available to all players who log in.
Similar to previous chapter finales, this live event will take place on a Saturday, followed by downtime and maintenance in the evening and the launch of the new chapter on Sunday morning. The Remix Finale is slated for 2 pm ET / 11 am PT on November 30, with potential encore performances afterward. Unlike recent events, the Remix Finale will have its own dedicated playlist, easily accessible at the top of the Discover feed in the lobby.
While the full lineup of performances remains under wraps, fans can expect to hear two new tracks: Snoop's 'Another Part of Me' featuring Sting, and Juice WRLD's 'Empty Out Your Pockets'. Ice Spice and Eminem are also set to take the virtual stage. Given the nature of live events, it's advisable to log in early to avoid potential login queues, as the event will start at the scheduled time regardless of player presence. Fortnite will not go offline immediately after the event; downtime is scheduled for 10 pm ET, eight hours post-event, during which time there may be additional encore performances.
In addition to the concert, Juice WRLD will be commemorated with a range of cosmetics, including two skins, multiple emotes and jam tracks, and a keytar. One of the skins, the cel-shaded 'Slayer Juice WRLD', will be free for any player who logs into Fortnite between November 25 and the game's offline period on November 30. The remaining Juice WRLD cosmetics, including a reactive skin and a contrail that plays music, similar to Metallica's 'Ride the Lightning' contrail from earlier this year, will be available for purchase in the item shop starting November 27.
