Fortnite is preparing for Chapter 6 Season 1, marking the end of Remix Chapter 2 with its grand Remix Finale event. This latest in-game concert, organized by Epic Games, has been a staple for players over the years. Shortly after the event, the official Fortnite Twitter/X account announced that the Remix Finale was the largest in-game concert the game has ever seen, with over 14 million players participating.

This record-breaking event surpassed Travis Scott's 'Astronomical' concert in 2020, which had a peak of 12.3 million players. Ariana Grande's Rift Tour in the summer of 2021 was also on a similar scale, though the exact player count was never disclosed, suggesting it was less than Scott's event. Both Scott's and Grande's concerts were held during ongoing Fortnite seasons and were replayed five times each to accommodate players who missed the initial showings.

In contrast, the Remix Finale will be replayed just once more at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET today, as Fortnite is currently offline in anticipation of Chapter 6 Season 1, which is set to commence tomorrow, December 1. The event featured a lineup of Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and the late Juice WRLD, who made a posthumous appearance with the approval of his mother and record label.

While many other concerts have taken place in Fortnite since Grande's, there is often a noticeable disparity in scale. The Remix Finale, however, closely resembled the Astronomical and Rift Tour events, making it the first of its kind in three years. Interestingly, the event came close to being Fortnite's biggest live event ever, but it still falls short of the Marvel crossover event from December 2020, which saw a peak of 15.3 million players.
