Free mammogram screenings will be provided to all in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi, according to a recent announcement by Seha.
The initiative aims to facilitate early detection, which is considered the 'first line of defence against breast cancer,' as stated in a social media post.
Seha, the largest health services network in the UAE, described this move as a proactive step towards ensuring optimal well-being for the community.
The free screenings will be available across multiple facilities in the region.
In a separate announcement, Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP) also revealed plans to offer free clinical breast examinations and mammogram screenings throughout the UAE in October.
This initiative, part of a campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, will be available to both female citizens and residents.
Known as the Pink Caravan, this is an annual initiative by FOCP, and companies can also book a Mobile Clinic for their employees.
