Stanley Abraham, Chief Financial Officer of Galadari Food and Beverage Division, and Neelesh Nair, General Manager of the same division, were presented with an award by Chief Guest Dr. Easa Al Bastaki at the Arab Franchise Awards in Dubai.
Galadari Food & Beverage Division was recently honored with the prestigious Hall of Fame award at the Arab Franchise Expo 2024. This marks the third year in a row that the division has received this accolade. The division, which operates global brands such as Baskin-Robbins, Dunkin’, and KyoChon, as well as local brands like Halla Shawarma and Shabestan, was recognized for its innovative business practices.

The Arab Franchise Expo 2024, held at Queen Elizabeth 2 in Dubai, brought together franchise industry leaders, investors, and innovators from around the world. The event highlighted the potential of franchise opportunities in the Arab world and beyond. Organized by the Arab Business Media Group and chaired by media figure Khaled Almaeena, the expo featured participants from 30 countries and 200 prominent brands. It also facilitated the sharing of franchise insights and concluded with deals worth Dh200 million signed at the Arab Franchise Investment Summit.
This year’s keynote speaker, Dr. Easa Al Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai, emphasized: “The world is undergoing rapid change, and now is the opportune moment for Arab franchises to expand their global influence. By promoting our local brands, we can demonstrate the innovation and cultural depth of our region, significantly boosting GDP, strengthening economic resilience, and fostering bilateral trade.”
