The health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza reported on Saturday that at least 40,939 individuals have lost their lives in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine's Hamas, which has now reached its 12th month.
According to the ministry's data, this grim figure includes 61 fatalities recorded in the past 48 hours. Additionally, the ministry's statistics indicate that 94,616 people have been injured in the Gaza Strip since the war commenced when Hamas launched an attack on Israel on October 7.
