The health ministry in Gaza, which is governed by Hamas, reported on Saturday that at least 43,314 individuals have perished in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in Palestine. The ministry stated that this figure includes 55 fatalities within the last 24 hours. Additionally, it noted that 102,019 people have been injured in the Gaza Strip since the war commenced when Hamas launched an attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
