Georgia's President Salome Zurabishvili addressed an opposition rally on Monday, protesting the parliamentary election results that favored the ruling Georgian Dream party. The rally took place outside the parliament building in central Tbilisi.
On Tuesday, President Salome Zourabichvili urged for an international investigation into the election outcomes and called for international pressure to reassess the results, which she claimed were manipulated. When questioned by RFI radio about the central electoral commission's plans for a partial vote recount, Zourabichvili expressed skepticism, accusing the commission of bias. Instead, she advocated for international pressure to compel authorities to re-examine the official election results and for an international inquiry.
