Ghost Face has already made appearances in several video games, including Dead By Daylight, Among Us, and Call of Duty: Warzone. Now, the legendary killer from Wes Craven's 1996 groundbreaking film, Scream, is set to terrorize a new gaming world. Starting October 24, players can encounter Ghost Face in Hunt: Showdown, as the western-horror extraction shooter introduces its first licensed character skin. The Ghost Face Rampage DLC features the character skin, along with two weapons and a tool—a knife, aptly chosen. The included weapons are Hush (a Frontier 73C Silencer) and Whisper (a Bornheim No. 3 Silencer), perfectly suited for the stealthy tactics of the Scream franchise's star. It's a pity Hunt: Showdown doesn't have a telephone feature for Ghost Face to call and taunt other players as they navigate the map each round.

In line with Dead By Daylight, the character has undergone a transformation to blend into the game's world, sporting a 19th-century-style hat and duster jacket. The iconic mask is now crafted from wood instead of rubber. Although Hunt: Showdown hasn't previously featured licensed crossovers, this move might not come as a complete surprise, especially given its ongoing Halloween event, Harvest of Ghosts.
