Dubai's renowned attraction, Global Village, has announced that it will offer free breast cancer screenings for women on October 26 and 27. This initiative comes ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in November, allowing female guests to receive complimentary consultations at the well-known Pink Caravan.
Last year, similar free screenings were conducted at Global Village on October 28. The Pink Caravan initiative, managed by Sharjah-based Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP), is dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer through various programs.
In collaboration with prominent public and private sector partners, FOCP has been providing free clinical breast examinations and mammogram screenings across the UAE throughout October. Additionally, FOCP is hosting a three-day family event at Aljada in Sharjah from October 4, featuring free breast cancer screenings and awareness workshops.
Season 29 of Global Village is set to commence on October 16, 2024, and will continue until May 11, 2025.
