After a five-month break, one of the UAE's most beloved family attractions is set to reopen on October 16. Global Village Season 29 will greet visitors with new attractions, entertainment, a fresh 'restaurant plaza', and three additional cultural pavilions. Ticket prices have seen a slight increase. Available on the official website (www.globalvillage.ae), entry tickets now start at Dh25. Last season, online bookings offered weekday tickets at Dh22.50 each.
Navigating to this popular destination can be tricky, especially when it comes to parking, as the area is frequently congested. Here’s a guide to the available parking options and their costs. The venue offers 20,000 parking spaces. For Dh150, visitors can use a new valet parking service at the brand-new Happiness Gate. General parking is free, while VIP parking, reserved for VIP pack holders, costs Dh200 per day for non-holders. Paid parking is Dh120 per day. For those parked far from the entrances, autorickshaws are available from Dh5 per person to ferry visitors to the entry gates.
If you don’t have a car, you can reach Global Village by bus or taxi. Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced several bus routes to the venue: Bus 102 from Rashidiya Metro Station, Bus 103 from Union Metro Station via Al Rebat Street, Bus 104 from Ghubaiba Bus Station via Al Jafiliya Metro Station, Bus 106 from Mall of the Emirates Metro Station via Al Barsha, and Bus 107 from Al Nahda 1 Bus Station. Three buses will run from Al-Musalla station in Ajman to Global Village, with the first departing at 2.15pm and the last at 6.15pm. Return trips from Global Village to Ajman will run from 3.45pm to 12.30am on weekdays and until 1.30am on weekends.
