With just three days remaining before Dubai's renowned attraction, Global Village, opens its doors to visitors, the popular destination has unveiled additional thrilling details for both loyal residents and first-time guests. Scheduled to commence on October 16, Season 29 promises fresh additions and experiences across entertainment, dining, shopping, and attractions. From ticket prices to operational hours, here's everything you need to know about this year's cherished winter hotspot.

Ticket prices have seen a slight increase compared to last year. During the previous season, weekday tickets were available online for Dh22.50, while any-day passes could be booked at Dh27. This year, tickets can be booked online through the official website, mobile app, or at the gates once the attraction opens. Weekday tickets (valid from Sunday to Thursday, excluding public holidays) will cost Dh25, and any-day tickets will be Dh30. Entry is complimentary for children under 3, seniors over 65, and people of determination.

New limited edition VIP ticket packages became available for pre-booking starting September 24. This year's packages include the Mega Gold Pack priced at Dh4,745, which includes the Global Village Gold VIP pack and the Dubai Parks and Resorts Ultimate Platinum Plus Annual Pass. The Mega Silver Pack, worth Dh3,245, includes the Global Village Silver VIP pack and the Dubai Parks and Resorts Ultimate Platinum Annual Pass. These packages offer an Ultimate Platinum Plus Annual Pass for Dubai Parks and Resorts, granting unlimited access to all parks, Green Plant, and a 20% discount at Lapita Hotel, Legoland Hotel, among others.

The classic VIP Packs are back, with the Diamond VIP Pack available for Dh7,350, the Platinum Pack for Dh3,100, the Gold Pack for Dh2,350, and the Silver Pack for Dh1,750 each.

On the opening day, October 16, Global Village will operate from 6pm to 12am. Regular hours from Sunday to Wednesday will be from 4pm to 12am, while on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and public holidays, the destination will remain open until 1am.

This year, Global Village introduces new attractions and concepts for existing ones. A grand opening ceremony will kick off the season. New additions will be made to the Railway Market, Floating Market, and Fiesta Street, along with new green promenades featuring extra seating for families and friends. The destination will also unveil a Restaurant Plaza and three new culturally rich pavilions, bringing the total number of pavilions to 30. With over 3,500 shopping outlets, this season promises an extensive retail experience.

For food lovers, over 250 diverse global cuisines will be available at the new Restaurant Plaza near the Carnaval fun-fair area. Diners can also enjoy premier dining by Dragon Lake, the double-story street kiosks of Fiesta Street, and traditional bites at the redesigned Railway Market and Floating Market.

Adrenaline enthusiasts can look forward to new rides and games, increasing the total number of entertainment attractions to over 200. These will include adventure experiences, space exploration, and heart-pounding fear-based activities.

A new stunt show, along with over 40,000 entertainment shows and performances, is planned for the Main Stage, Kids’ Theatre, and throughout the streets of Global Village.
