Google is commemorating Halloween with a fresh addition to the Magic Cat Academy series, marking the third iteration of the Doodle. Previously, Momo the cat has faced off against ghouls in school and ventured underwater to combat sea monsters. This year, Google sets Momo against ghosts and space creatures as she confronts her archenemy, Marshmallow the ghost, throughout the cosmos.
The gameplay is straightforward: Draw the specified lines to vanquish ghosts and other monsters across five stages. The complexity of the lines and their sequence increases as the game advances, but you can always draw a heart to gain more life—just be swift. After each level, a brief scientific fact about the atmospheric level and the theme of the level, such as stars or the flying fox bat, is presented. Google has also included a gallery of concept art, ranging from level designs to abandoned ideas like Momo and Marshmallow transforming into a giant mech and joining forces. Additionally, there's a photo of the real-life Momo relaxing.
