Danish police apprehended activist Greta Thunberg during a protest in Copenhagen against the war in Gaza on Wednesday, according to a spokesperson from the student group organizing the demonstration.
Six individuals were detained at Copenhagen University where approximately 20 protesters had blocked a building entrance and three had entered inside. A police spokesperson informed Reuters that they would not disclose the identities of those arrested. However, a spokesperson for Students Against the Occupation confirmed to Reuters that Thunberg was among those held. Ekstra Bladet, a daily newspaper, published a photo of Thunberg wearing what the newspaper described as handcuffs.
