Gypsy Rose Blanchard is clearing up any doubts about the paternity of her unborn child, following widespread speculation that her ex-husband might be the father. The 33-year-old, who is currently pregnant with her first child, has confirmed that her boyfriend, Ken Urker, is 99.9% likely to be the baby's father.
Blanchard shared the results of a prenatal paternity test on social media, accompanied by a message aimed at those who have questioned the baby's parentage. "There's been a lot of chatter around the paternity of our baby and while we've known for sure from the beginning, I feel that it's finally time to put all these theories to rest. Here are the results showing Ken is the father," she wrote. The "Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup" star also expressed her excitement about their future, stating, "Ken is going to be an incredible dad and we are so excited to welcome our baby girl into the world."
Blanchard announced her pregnancy with Urker on July 9, just months after filing for divorce from Anderson in April. The couple married in 2022 while Blanchard was serving time for the second-degree murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Throughout her pregnancy, Blanchard has been vocal about her excitement, revealing that their daughter is due in January.
In October, Anderson addressed the speculation surrounding the baby's paternity on TikTok, telling his 717,000 followers that he had never doubted Urker was the father. "I've never once questioned who the baby daddy was," he said in a video. "I've always said 'guys it's not my baby.'" However, Anderson also speculated that Blanchard and Urker might capitalize on the paternity results.
Blanchard's relationship with Urker began while she was incarcerated for her role in her mother's death. He proposed in 2018, but their relationship was on-and-off before her release in 2023. Blanchard married Anderson in a jailhouse ceremony in July 2022 and filed for divorce shortly before their second wedding anniversary. After the divorce filing, Blanchard rekindled her romance with Urker.
