Temperatures have been rising across the UAE, reaching a new peak on Tuesday with a reading of 50.8℃ at 3:45pm local time on July 9, according to the NCM.
Occasional summer showers are typical in the UAE and generally persist until the end of the summer season in September. In a recent conversation with Khaleej Times, Dr. Ahmed Habib from the NCM mentioned, "The UAE can anticipate rainfall in the coming weeks, as it is a common occurrence during the summer and usually continues until September 23."
