Hezbollah announced on Monday that it had launched a series of advanced rockets towards a naval base near Haifa, a city in northern Israel. The Iran-backed group claimed it had executed a 'rocket barrage at...a naval base' in the Haifa region. Prior to this, Lebanon reported that an Israeli strike on Tyre on the same day resulted in the death of seven individuals. The Israeli army subsequently issued an evacuation order for several areas of the southern coastal city. According to a health ministry statement, an 'Israeli enemy strike this morning on a building' in the center of Tyre led to the death of 'seven people and wounded 17 others', updating an earlier count of five dead and 10 injured. An AFP video journalist witnessed emergency personnel transporting a survivor on a stretcher to an ambulance, while other rescuers battled a large fire at the site, where a residential apartment block had collapsed. Later on Monday, the Israeli army instructed residents in central Tyre to evacuate immediately, warning that it would target Hezbollah positions in the area.
