Hezbollah announced on Thursday that it had launched numerous rockets into northern Israel, according to AFP. This follows an incident where four Syrian civilians were killed and at least five Lebanese individuals were injured in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon on the same day, as reported by the Lebanese health ministry. The tensions in the area have been rising following an alleged Hezbollah attack over the weekend that resulted in the deaths of a dozen young people in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. Hezbollah has refuted claims of responsibility for this incident. Israel's military revealed on Tuesday evening that it had eliminated Fuad Shukr, whom they identified as Hezbollah's top commander and held accountable for the attack.
