Hezbollah's leader has declared that the group will undoubtedly retaliate against Israel for the assassination of its chief commander on Thursday. The leader further stated that if 'Israel transgresses red lines, the sole resolution is the cessation of the Gaza conflict.' This declaration follows the Israeli military's announcement on Tuesday evening that it had eliminated Fuad Shukr, identified as Hezbollah's highest-ranking commander, and held responsible for a recent assault that resulted in the deaths of a dozen children in the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights. Shukr's remains were discovered under debris in the southern outskirts of Beirut on Wednesday.
