Are you among those who find it challenging to schedule time for a medical test required for your residency visa renewal in Dubai? Worry no more. Expats in Dubai now have the option to undergo their medical tests within the convenience of their homes. VFS Global and AMH have introduced the 'Medical Examination Doorstep service,' allowing expats with a UAE residence visa in Dubai to complete their medical examinations without having to visit a designated medical center.

This 'Medical Examination Doorstep service' is offered as a premium service through VFS Global, specifically designed for Category A visa holders who are renewing their residency visas. It serves as an additional option to the standard medical examination services available at centers. This collaboration is in line with the Emirates Health Services’ (EHS) vision to expand their services. Customers can schedule their medical examination appointments directly from their homes or offices via online or offline methods.

Required documents include a copy of your passport, residence permit/visa copy, a passport-sized photograph with a white background (not older than 3 months), and a copy of your Emirates ID. To initiate the process, visit the VFS Global website and follow the 'Medical Examination At Your Doorstep' link. After filling out a simple online form and uploading the necessary documents, you will receive an email confirmation with a payment link. Upon completing the payment, the VFS Global team will manage the application processing and ensure smooth service delivery at your preferred location, whether it be your residence or office.

The fees for the medical test for Category A are Dh 261.86, with an additional Dh52 for form filling, a VFS Service Fee of Dh110, and a Doorstep Service fee of Dh426.15, totaling Dh850.01 including VAT. Atul Marwah, Chief Operating Officer for Medical Services and Special Projects at VFS Global, expressed his delight in extending the partnership with AMH to introduce the Medical Examination Doorstep service, aligning with VFS Global's dedication to exceptional customer experiences and the EHS' vision for a more accessible and convenient healthcare system.

Buthaina A. Khoory, CEO at AMH, also expressed excitement about enhancing their partnership with VFS Global through this innovative service, streamlining the medical examination process for expat visa holders, enabling them to fulfill this requirement conveniently from their homes or offices, in line with AMH's commitment to accessible and efficient healthcare solutions. VFS Global operates two physical Medical Examination Centers for EHS, situated in Ibn Battuta Mall and Dragon Mart 2.
